We poetically engage in dialogue about SEEING through MAKING proposing international public exhibitions, joyful events affording hands-on experience of algorithmic perception and its limits. We provide a free prototype of a low-cost, replicable format, prompts, printers, and an open algorithm, adoptable by grass-roots institutions without specialized equipment. We add comparative primary research value: each installation generates real data on how algorithmic and crowd insight diverge across different cities and cultural contexts. We are a part of a local community: the events afford a snapshot in time of our city, a collectively self-authored record, a lasting memento from Warbi and Ersi.
